"The hike to Choquequirao was one of the most beautiful I’ve done. Having an insight into Incan life was extremely interesting. Our guide Percy was brilliant- very attentive, knowledgeable and flexible to accommodate our varying needs. We had three delicious meals a day cooked by Ignacio and our tents and bags put up and looked after by Carlos. Amilcar was also on hand taking photos of our group. The whole tour was accompanied by our guide Elio, who was able to answer every question and took care of everything. "Excellent trekking. There are many agencies that offer it but few that actually operate it. We did it with ITEP InkaTrail. They rose to the occasion. The Percy guide showed knowledge of the place and ability to resolve adversity. The cooks of the highest standard and exceptional working capacity. I would definitely recommend it. It is difficult and height is the main stumbling block. Avoid rainy season...."
