"We did the Salkantay trek and spent 5 days on the tour. One has to take into account that the trek has some tough parts, and the altitude makes hiking quite exhausting. Yet, the landscape and the views of Andean highland, glaciers, lagoons, rainforest and rivers will be unforgettable. Accommodation was basic, as you would expect in the mountains. "We had a fantastic time doing the 5-day-Salkantay Trek! It was challenging, especially the steep gravel paths down and the long walking hours but as a not very experienced hiker I can confirm what our guide told us the day before: it is difficult but doable. Percy was a fantastic guide. He could answer every question and you could see that he loves his Job and is passionate about sharing his love for nature and culture. I learned a lot on this trip! Ignacio made the best Vegetarian food for us...."

"InkaTrial was such a great experiance! Our guid Percy was always trying his best to make us happy. He pationatly answered all of our questions and gave us many fun facts or others stories. Percy was talking about it with so much pasion and in such an interesting way. Beyond that there was a crue of porters that were also helping us in everything and even more. "Inka Trial with Percy was an incredible experience. Not easy to expres it in words. The passion with what he was showing us the trail, explaining it's history, lead us thrugh dificult moments during hiking... no words... just have to be there with him. He became a truly family friend. We've seen other guides on a trail and belive me, Percy is the one you want to take this chalange with. Not to forget porters and cheff. "ITEP is an incredible tour company. My mom, sisters, and I planned to visit Machu Picchu in March of 2020 but were unable to do so because of the pandemic. ITEP gave us all vouchers for our prepaid deposits to use at a later time. They allowed a 1 year extension for the vouchers and for my family's vouchers to be transfered to my friend and I since my family was no longer able to make the trip. "We chose the 7 day/6 night Salkantay to Inca Trail trek. All I can say is it was not even close to what we expected. After reading the website many times and asking tons of questions, which were always answered promptly by the sales team, we were provided an experience that could not have been described on a website. First, we thought we would be in a group of other trekkers like similar companies that made their clients wear their logos on their backpacks the whole way. This was not our case...."
