"We were so impressed with the level of professionalism and communication from our guide, Percy. We had an informative pre trip briefing where all of our many questions were answered. The logistics were all figured out for us and the day was incredible. Beautiful hike with a ton of information. "My friends and I did the 4-day Salkantay Trek with Inka Trail Expeditions and it was amazing. We are not avid hikers, so we were a little nervous about the difficulty. It was challenging, but our guides (both named Jorge) encouraged us along the way and gave us interesting information about the different stops along the Salkantay Pass and Macchu Picchu. "Jorge Sanchéz was our guide, he is the best! I was definitely not physically prepared for this trip (Salkantay trek) and had horrible altitude sickness but he was very accommodating - helping me carry my jacket, my bag, walking with me a lot of the time. He gives good advice about activities to do and answers all my question. My only complaint is I hope the company (Inka Trail) advised me better when I booked the tour - letting me know the experience level required so I'm prepared...."
