Machu Picchu circuits

Starting this June 1st 2024, Machu Picchu will have new circuits and the capacity will increase to 5,600 visitors per day. This news was recently provided through Ministerial Resolution No. 000207-2024-MC which indicates that the Inca city of Machu Picchu will be able to receive 5,600 visitors in 1 Day per high season, it is also indicated that the income will be purchased in a new platform and which comes into effect this June 1st.

The high season begins from June 1 to October 15, 2024 and from December 30 to 31, 2024 (New Year's Eve).

Machu Picchu Circuit 1

It is characterized by having options of wide or panoramic views of Machupicchu and its nearby mountains that connected our ancestors with the pre-hispanic deities.
It has four (4) routes, which take you to the highest part of Machupicchu and lead you through narrow paths, enjoying the impressive cultural landscape that goes beyond the classic photo. Each route demands physical effort, but it is worth it.

Machu Picchu Circuit 2

It is characterized by combining the visit to the places of the middle part and the entire urban área of the Inka City of Machu Picchu. You Will be able to visit enclosures and sites where our ancestors did on a daily basis, as well as some others where they did rituals and could observe the stars and others to maintain that connection with nature. It has two routes which require regular physical effort.

Machu Picchu Circuit 3

On this circuit you Will know closely the most sacred and important spaces occupied by the inka roaylty in pre-hispanic times. It is the temple of the sun, the house of the inka, the temple of the condor among others. Little physical effort is needed for this circuit, but if you choose to walk in the nearby mountains like Huaynapicchu, Huchuypicchu or The Great Cavern you should consider more time and this time greater physical effort.
