The Inca Trail operators met yesterday with the director of the Cusco Directorate of Culture (DDCC), Handersson Casafranca Valencia, and César Medina, head of the Machu Picchu Archaeological Park. During the meeting, it was agreed to modify the reservation schedule for the 2026 Inca Trail.

Today, September 30th, an official statement was issued announcing the postponement of the start of the mass reservation system until October 27th. Regarding the tour to Machu Picchu from the Inca Trail, Circuit 3B will be added, but this addition will entail a rate adjustment of S/ 152.00, which must be included in a single reservation transaction.
