Now is the time to start planning your 2024 trip to the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Starting from October 9th, 2023, the Peruvian government will release permits for 2024 to tour operators. To ensure you secure a permit, book in advance!

As soon as the permits open, tour operators rush to submit all hikers’ reservations, so it’s essential to be prepared. Check the exact dates when permits will be issued based on the month you decide to do the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu:

October 9th for January 2024 

October 10th for March 2024 

October 11th for April 2024 

October 12th for May 2024 (from May 1 to May 15)

October 13th for May 2024 (from  May 16 to May 31)

October 16th for June 2024 

October 17th for July 2024

October 18th from August to December 2024
